Overview

What the degree covers

The B.Sc. General program is a four-year, full-time undergraduate degree run under Tribhuvan University's Institute of Science and Technology (IOST). It is taught in English, and the campus offers 50 seats in the program.

The degree is built around a broad science foundation in the first years, narrowing towards a chosen major subject with project or field work in the final year. Alongside the core sciences, the curriculum includes scientific communication, applied statistics, research methodology and a computational course — the skills that carry into postgraduate study or scientific work.

Curriculum, examinations and certification are set and issued by Tribhuvan University. The teaching, laboratory work and student support happen at the campus in Dhungrebas.
